Equine Therapy

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Wish Upon a Horse Therapeutic Riding Center helps children and adults with special needs in the Hilton Head area of Beaufort County, South Carolina. Equine riding therapy has been proven to improve muscle tone, balance, posture, coordination and motor development as well as emotional well being.

Wish Upon a Horse is located at Lawton Stables in the Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head.

Providing for special needs individuals from the local community as well as for visitors and their families seeking to combine the therapeutic riding experience with other amenities Hilton Head has to offer, Wish Upon a Horse hopes to enhance the well-being, both mentally and physically, of its participants by providing a safe, therapeutic and fulfilling activity.

Wish Upon a Horse, Inc. is a registered 501(3)(c) non-profit organization serving the communities of Hilton Head and Bluffton, SC. All programs for special needs individuals at Wish Upon a Horse will be offered at no cost to the participants and will be fully sponsored by the charity.
